Do You Lead Your Prospects?

Questions Sell Better than Facts
A friend and I were discussing with others whether or not they lead their prospects into the sales funnel. They weren’t certain what we meant or how that is possible.

The problem lies where most businesspeople begin appointments by telling their psopect everything they know about their service or product without taking the time to understand the prospect first. On initial meetings it is best to act as the consultant by asking questions such as, What caught your interest to invite me in today? Through the questioning process, you will be able to pinpoint how you can best help.

Once you have a clear understanding of the situation, you can easily lead the prospect by stating how you work and the results you achieved for other clients. You can then clearly state what you need your prospect to do next in order for you to help them achieve the results they want – and they will follow.

Take the leadership position every time and it will be a smooth sale!

Do You Receive Rave Reviews?

The real estate industry is crowded with players, but this one agent receives my rave review.

For the first time, as a buyer, this agent lined up everyone my husband and I needed to get in touch with in order to make the purchase of the house feasible and liveable. Previous experiences have shown the agents only interested in collecting their commission.

Not this agent. She is interested in the bigger picture: repeat business, referrals and testimonials – earning her future Smooth Sales!

Too Many Prospects

Do you have the luxury or challenge of too many clients?
An associated shared with me he could not pursue further prospects because he is bogged down with too many already.

My thoughts were he could resolve the issue by:

  • Raising his fees for better qualified clients
  • Hiring help.
  • Examining his strategies for efficiency

Without resolution, it will be impossible for him to expand his business and enjoy the Smooth Sale!

  • Is it Reasonable to…

    Customer Service Policies:
A buyer of a home just informed me they are putting 60% down and have the cash to cover the remainder if ever needed. The company funding the loan agreed to underwrite the remainder on one condition. The buyer was required to transfer all of their savings at another bank into this company’s program “to make certain the paperwork goes through promptly.”

Does this sound like good customer service practices to you?

If you are a bigger company, examine your policies and ask others if they sound reasonable or if some areas need adjusting. Your company depends upon it. Make it a Smooth Sale!
