Close More Sales: Tip #85
What is your business purpose?
Most entrepreneurs lose site of their purpose. While speaking to a friend today, I heard her say she has a fear of success (the norm is fear of failure). She releayed she has the opportunity to make mega bucks but feels guilty, therefore, she is not doing the required work to make it happen.
The picture of Bill Gates came to mind. He gathered his money and began giving back to the world at large. He had vision and purpose. Upon further discussion, I learned my new friend comes from a small town that is riddled with despair. I suggested she speak to the City Officials to lay out her vision for how she can help her town of years ago.
My friend’s voice changed. I first heard the emotion as she spoke, and then her excitement built stemming from a new-found purpose that will quickly turn into pride. I further suggested she consider estate planning for a foundation in her name, because one day, she will want to leave her millions in the hands of a trustworthy organization.
My friend’s new-found purpose will feed to and from her business. By the time we ended the call, I knew she was on her way to making a difference in her childhood community and will become a shining star with her business.
With you have vision, purpose and understand how you are able to personally help others, your mindset and outlook will change for the positive. Relationships and business will build with ease. When your purpose is in the forefront, your marketing becomes effortless, more prospects learn about you and you will close more sales.
Once again, they will be a Smooth Sale!
