Attract the Right Job or Clientele: Sales Tip #652

The Community that Promotes will Excel

Volt overview

Whichever group you belong to whether for interivewing or business development, and for in-person or online, everyone should have the opportunity to be a star. When we treat one another as equals with having value to bring to the meetings, so much more will be learned to enable our growth at a faster pace.

Online, do you pose questions and provide insight?  Do you encourage others to do the same on your pages and in your groups?  In-person, do you dominate or ask questions and once again, encourage dialogue?  As a member are you encouraged to share your work with other members?  As a whole, does your group have the underlying understanding that everyone will work to promote one another?

Over the past couple of years, I have noticed an increase in being asked to share tips in the blogs of others.  Some showcase 10 "experts" while others may go as high as 50 advisors.  Imagine the difference between putting out a sole article or belonging to a group whereveryone tweets, likes, +1 and shares the writing.  This link provides one such example.  The promotion is obviously exponential.

Our Motivational Marathon for all areas of your life is another example where everyone combines forces to help others and promotes together.  Whether or not you wish to participate, click the link below to see all that is involved to conisder new ideas of your own.

In this New Year, consider ways in which you may be able to increase not only your own exposure in the marketing arena but that of your peers too.  Extend your reach, expand your community presence and GROW your business or interviewing opportunities.  It will definitely lead to a Smooth Sale!

Attract the Right Job or Clientele: Sales Tip #626

Review Notes for A Better Review

A Richard Sarwal media briefing group

Client or Professional Work – Sales Techniques Apply!

Business consultants and salespeople frequently need to review their work with their clientele to ensure happiness and ongoing business.  Likewise, employees may have upcoming reviews and they too need to be prepared for the best possible outcome.

Begin a New Year pledge early to have continual dialogue with either clients or management.  Let each know about the problems you are working on, the hurdles you are facing, and then eagerly share the solutions you brought to their company.  My so doing in the corporate arena led to my having all of my requests granted.  Why?  By keeping management updated, they had positive reports to provide their management which served to improve their image too.

When it comes time to receive either repeat business, a raise in salary, or a promotion, review everything you did leading up to why you believe your desired end goal should be granted.  But let the other party begin first.  Hear them out including concerns. Only then may you position what you have achieved, and what you wish to say to their interests.   Have  your documentation ready to "show and tell" relating to what was already said.

More information on sales techniques to improve business or sales techniques for interviewing may be found in either of my books, Nice Girls DO Get the Sale: Relationship Building That Gets Results, and, HIRED! How to Use Sales Techniques to Sell Yourself On Interviews.

Following these steps and proceeding in a friendly manner will put you on the path of a Smooth Sale
