Attract the Right Job or Clientele:

Salespeople are taught to fill their pipeline with many possibilities. The reason is only a small percentage flows through to become a sale. Therefore, if a few possibilities are in one’s funnel, the likelihood of success is minimal. The same applies to finding a good job and anything else you may desire.

Motivation to make the most of the day is the game-changer for success.

My Story

“You don’t know unless you try” is a phrase I repeatedly heard while growing up. Somehow the thought was converted into “anything is possible with a flexible plan in place.” Without a doubt, this line of thinking expanded my sales funnel.

It became noticeable that those who did not sell well usually suffered from:

  • Believing they knew it all
  • Negative thinking
  • Making assumptions not backed up with fact.

I tested the theory of positive thinking and being open minded. Eventually, I grew into taking a calculated risk, experimenting with trial and error, and embracing all experiences. Adding to the mix was the idea of leveraging everything I put into place to reach not only larger audiences but also a greater variety of prospective clients. Leveraging everything grew into the idea of implementing a collaborative effort wherever possible.

As we all know, social media expanded all of the above into exponential proportion. The platform provides the freedom to express ourselves through content, in a variety of ways that appeal to us most. For me, the thank you messages and recognition for sharing my content provide the acknowledgment that I am on the right track for those I serve.

All of the above saw me drift away from the negative minded to network and surround myself with the positive, and to continue doing what appears to be working well. Each aspect weaves into the next. Accordingly, my pipeline of possibilities continues to expand as does the motivation to continue. Each day brings a sense of excitement for what may be in store.

Your Story

Consider your thought each Monday morning. Are you excited to get to work or do you dread another very long week? If the latter, what may you do to change that thought? Most likely if you aren’t happy when Monday arrives, it’s time to change your game plan.

Actions to Consider
  • Reframe negative thought into positive
  • Commit to experimenting with new possibilities
  • Deliberately interact with positive minded people

Monitor your increase of energy and pipeline week to week to determine if these new actions are working well. The focused work becomes your defining moment to turn the tide.

As you give full attention to what inspires you, negative thought and assumptions will slowly disappear. You soon find an expanding pipeline of possibility. As you witness your pipeline expanding, that is a sign that you are on a sure-footed track for reaching the success you desire.
